Andrew’s background includes extensive senior leadership and operational management in the logistics and supply chain industry over 20 years at Toll Holdings Limited, McAleese Group and Asciano, where he held general management roles in both the Patrick and Pacific National Divisions. As LINX Cargo Care Group’s Chief Operating Officer, Andrew is responsible for C3’s operational leadership and enables us to share best practice and capability across the organisation, while leading safety across the supply chain.

Chris Sutherland

General Manager, Logistics (NZ)

Chris oversees the operational delivery of C3’s logistics and stevedoring services, bringing to the role some 20 years’ experience in a variety of operational roles for leading New Zealand manufacturers.

Steve is an experienced people and business leader, having held a number of executive and governance roles in a diverse range of industries. Most recently Steve led the operations, safety, marine, engineering and HR functions at a major New Zealand port.

Craig commenced working in the Health Safety Environment Risk (HSER) industry in 2002 and has since operated internationally in multiple high-risk industries. Prior to joining C3, Craig spent eight years in a variety of HSER management roles with a major rail and logistics organisation in Australia.

General Manager, Innovation & Technology (NZ)

We are doing this through the development and delivery of world-class tools, many of which are new to the market. My passion is coming up with ideas that solve business problems and there is nothing more rewarding that sitting down with my great team of IT professionals and creating new and innovative technologies.”

Hugh brings over 20 years of IT experience to C3 from local government, manufacturing and ports environments in New Zealand and Europe.

Originally from the UK, Michele relocated to New Zealand over a decade ago. Michele is a qualified chartered accountant and has held a number of finance roles in a variety of industries, including senior roles in the UK and New Zealand.

Walter Naera

General Manager, Employee Relations (NZ)

“We are a company that partners with our customers and we deliver that partnership by the experience and efforts of our employees.”

Those efforts have resulted in a constant period of growth and expansion. It is this challenge that attracted Walter to join C3 in 2011 as the Human Resources Manager. Walter brings 15 years of industrial relations and employment relations experience to C3 from the aviation, forestry and marketing industries.

Helping establish the Green Triangle hardwood plantation estate provided me with the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the complexities in creating a premium plantation estate.”

Mark has more than 20 years’ experience working in the forestry sector in both Australia and New Zealand across a wide variety of roles, including senior positions in harvesting, industrial operations and regional management.

Rob Scarlett

General Manager, Commercial (Australia)

“I’m excited about my role as GM Commercial with C3 in Australia. The company is poised for growth, with a pipeline of potential opportunities.”

Rob’s career in forestry began in 2005 with Pentarch, where he held roles in Melbourne and New Zealand’s North Island. He also held roles with Mitsui in Australia and their Tokyo office, working on developing forestry projects predominantly located in South America and South East Asia. In 2014, Rob was transferred to Western Australia to manage two Mitsui subsidiaries, Bunbury Fibre Exports (hardwood woodchip processing and exporting) and Bunbury Fibre Plantations (hardwood plantation ownership and management).
